ShipSurveyorXT Benefits
- Weight surveys are required by the Navy throughout the lifecycle of the ship. Current weight survey processes (including dunnage, incline, planning yard, etc.) are largely manual, paper-based, and labor intensive. ShipSurveyorXT is an automated time saving application.
- Due to the complexity and potential for errors in this process, Navy stakeholders and shipyards often do not agree on the validity of survey data. With ShipSurveyorXT, all data can be easily verified.
- Weight surveys can involve crews of dozens and approximately a thousand man-hours of labor for surface combatants and potentially several multiples of that for CVNs. ShipSurveyorXT reduces the number of personnel and hours necessary to conduct weight surveys.
